"The X-Wing Project is a group of fans, spanning the whole US, who work tirelessly to keep the LFL 3/4 Scale X-Wing alive and well, and at home in the hangar of the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum. Our pay is the smile on the faces of every child (both young and old) who get to experience the X-Wing with the same sense of joy and wonder we first did... A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away."

I was invited to create a logo for this project, which will have some world-wide recognition. I was inspired by military-style medals for this, since the X-Wing was the primary fighter for the Rebel Alliance in the Star Wars films. The design was initially created for crew t-shirts, with implementation into their website design and for future use—which I am in discussions.

The Take from 20th & Blake is a blog on Major League Baseball which covers the Colorado Rockies. I wanted it to have the obvious baseball flair, but without being "obnoxious." I used the Rockies' purple, black and silver (represented by white) for the logo and incorporated the flaming baseball to bring some visual to the logo.

At present, the logo has been used for business cards and a hand-held sign that is prominently shown at Rockies games.
